Geoffrey Bucknall rods

Does anyone remember Geoffrey Bucknall s range of grey (heron grey?) rod blanks must be 40+ years ago? I had one of his float rods waaaaay back, and a friend has come into possession of a 16' Salmon rod in a similar colour, which I thought may be from the same range/era. The only info i can find is for glass rods, but this one seems too light to be glass

I can remember some of his rods were branded under Sundridge, I think they were a kind of heron grey and fibreglass? They were light for a glass rod and thin walled.

I think Euan used to fish Bucknall rods ..... maybe he can help?

I bought a Bucknall heron grey 9' blank and sure it was carbon - or maybe a composite?
