Is there / has there ever been a season opening ceremony on the Ythan?

Do folk tend just to go to the Dee / Don ceremonies?

I don’t think there is anything on the Ythan at present or previously as far as I know Andrew.

The Ythan view hotel at Methlick might make a good starting point for a march to the river but I don’t know who would organise something like that.
