So, one of the companies I occasionally buy from had some 'Hareline Dubbin American Saddle Clumps' for sale at £3.50 each - which looked ideal for tying my 'kate ordies' so i bought two packets
this is the result...
lovely long feathers and 2 clumps per packet for less than £7 !!!! Bargain.
I contacted them as they also offered grizzle versions that show as out of stock but he says he cant get anymore due to the weak £ and import duties.....gutted as i would loved to see the grizzly version.
the good news is that there will now be a lot of pink tailed kate ordies on the way......as well as some predator flies...
