A little bait fish to imitate the trout food seen in several lochs recently.

Nice 👍

Out of curiosity, how do you plan to fish it?

Thanks for the kind words gents.

Steven, I reckon it will fish best on either on a slowish jerky figure of eight retrieve or short sharp pulls. Concentrating near banks and shallows around features, but that is where the fish generally are anyway. Would probably fish it on the point with a snatcher, muddler, or sedgehog on the dropper.

Cool  :z16 I wouldn't be surprised if it would fish well static if cast in amongst fry feeders  :z16

I like to look of that and the colour scheme. The tail and wing will have much more movement as well.

so its copper flash and mallard for the tail , tied long - as i thought that was more 'minnow like'

dont think minnows have a red belly put it gives a 'target point'

sadly I dont have any small silver or gold eyes  as i think they would be most appropriate .....
