Haddo Trout Fishery

Haddo has continued to produce good sport this week with Hoppers, Bibio, Klinks, Spiders, Loch Ordie and Pearly Pennell proving good choices of fly.

Horace Wetherly tempted 20 fish up to approx 7½ lb, John Baxter 13 up to 4 lb, Mark Stephenson 17 up to 6½ lb, Jim Adie 24 up to 5 lb, Malcolm Mead 14 up to 10 lb, Richard Hambly 17 up to 4 lb, Rod MacKay 14 up to 3 lb, Alistair Davidson 25 up to 3 lb, Mike Cordiner 10 up to 4 lb, Kevin Neri 19 up to 8 lb, Stephen Davidson 30+ up to 10 lb and Bill McBain from Canada 10 fish up to 4 lb, including his first on the fly.

Sunday's Float Tube Gathering was "rather wet", but lots of fun. Top rod on the day was Jim Eddie with 18 fish up to 10 lb. A good number of blues in the 4 to 6 lb range were released and Henry Lockhart found himself "a good tow" which turned out to be a cracking 12 lb rainbow.

Please note that the fishery is fully booked for a morning session club outing on Sunday October 1st.
Please phone me on 07810 868897 for availability of boats at other times.

Best wishes
Mike
