First couple of snatchers
« on: 06/09/2009 at 20:03 »
Well thought i woud give snatchers a wee try out as have heard a few lads doing well on them lately  :wink
Any coments/criticism welcome as like i say they are my first 2 efforts and I would like to get them looking good/better  :wink
Hop you like them,
Baz.

First claret one maybe has to much JC for the eye.

The 2nd one i have only used one side of the hackle.

Baz,
I prefer the second one where you have halved the hackle. I agree the first one has too big a JC.
I,m sure the fish won't mind though !!!! :wink

Back at lintrathen today, managed 14 to the boat between myself and my pall   :shock A  good few fell to the 2nd  snatcher and a a few to the heavy dubbed version!
What a days sport and the browns were out in full force  :z4
Guess i will be tying these up by the bucket load now  :wink
Heavy dubbed below but the browns loved it!

Nice flies Baz.  You could save yourself a few pence per fly however by using goose biots instead of dyed JC, JC is a natural fluorescent material and it's fluorescent properties are destroyed when it is dyed.

Cheers

Ben
