This mornings efforts

With exam pressures off me (at bloody last ), I had more than a few glasses of vino last night to celebrate 

Sadly, this morning I didn't get the lie in I had hoped for as the small ginger cat decided to wake the house up at 6am 
After strangling the cat (no, that's not a metaphor for something else) I decided to tie some salmon flies.
This mornings efforts:



I've not tied the cone-heads before, interesting technique which I've still to master

Any reason for the long piece of tubing on the bottom tube fly?

Ahhhhh - saving the fur for trout flies. He's not a big cat you see

No, I just hadn't got around to cutting it to size when I took the photo

Ta  The flies tied on the white tubing (cotton wool bud stalks  ) are also getting a minor tweak in the dressing for Sea Trout use, but will probably use them in that size for sea trout too  We like BIG flies

Cotton Buds are just the thing 
Have Just bought some Roman Moser Surf Snap Heads and reckon they would finish some of those flies off really nicely.
Ben used them on some patterns on the last tying night, i will use them for my baitfish patterns so will post some pics once i have made some up

Yes, I think that the blue stemmed ones are a cracking colour for Sea-Trout
