So first time on the vice for ages today (as I have manflu and feel horrible). Got to use some scissors I bought a while ago, a pair of Kopterflies curved blade ones . I bought them for trying muddler heads. They are amazing, soooo sharp and the serrated blades just grab the hair. 10/10 !

I have a set of their straight blade scissors that are my main tying scissors. They are very nice.

Good to know. The fanciest ones I own are some KAI curved blade embroidery scissors I bought when I saw Gordon van der Spuy using them. They look cheap with little ABS handles but I've found them great, the fact that they're curved and sit up on the desk is maybe why I always grab them.... an option if you want some lightweight ones to travel with without loosing your best?
