BFFI 2025

I booked my weekend ticket early for 2025, as the last BFFI I went to was 2019 
Very much looking forward to this years event which I will be using (when I get home again) as something of a catalyst to get all of my fly tying kit out and set up again.
The spare bedroom served as my office for much of the pandemic and since then I regularly spend some of my week working from home - but my intention is to reclaim the space for what belongs there and that is my fly tying kit

Regarding the BFFI, there's plenty of interest at this years event with some interesting talks being delivered. As I'm very much going for myself, rather than helping out on anyone's stand,  I plan on taking as much in as I can.

I know a couple (at least) of forum members will be there and tying, but anyone else going for the 'craic'

Hi Hamish,
I can identify with your comments as I've been working from home since the pandemic!
I started tying flys about 2 months ago, retiring in a year so plans are afoot.
Hopefully I'll be there!

I can resist everything except temptation  I've set myself a very, very strict pocket money budget as it's a 900 or so mile round trip from chez moi with hotels, eating, a mild ale or two to be factored in.  It's worth it though

Unfortunatley i wont make this one this year. It falls right in the middle of one  of my shifts and would require too much leave which i want to keep for fishing this year.
Last years was superb and it was fantastic to catch up with many old friends and turn cyber friends into  real people. I'm sure you will have a great time, especially when there is no agenda or tasks to distract you.
