Despite the foul weather last week anglers enjoyed the continuing good sport at Delgatie and with fish still averaging over 3lb and in fine condition the loch produced some excellent bags.
Buckie angler J Rennie had a super days fishing landing 20 fish on a bloodworm with his best at 4lb, J Barry used buzzers to land 16 fish with a fish of 7lb his best and J Pratt fishing nymphs also landed 16 with a fish of 5lb his best.
B Scott bagged 15 to 8lb on lures while J Addison landed 12 to 6.8lb using a damsel. J Kerr banked 12 to 4lb on lures while Fraserburgh angler S McLean landed a fish of 11.1lb in his bag of 11 taken on lures, S Pratt also bagged 11 on lures with a fish of 6lb his best while G Wood landed 10 to 4lb on various flies. I Grey landed 10 to 3lb on lures while M Sutherland boated 9 to 4lb on a bloodworm, G Sutherland bagged 8 to 5.8lb also on a bloodworm while J West, P Scott and G Bain all had bags of 7 to 4lb mainly taken on lures.
