Hi guys, it's been a long time since I've posted on here but I thought some of you would like an update on a certain loch......
I had a recent family holiday to the Hebrides and managed 2 early morning 2 hr sessions on the loch nearest to my wife's uncles house.
It's got a deserved reputation for big fish but they are few and far between. Hardly anyone fishes it nowadays. For those who know where I'm on about I've been told there are hopes to get it up and running again soon. I had one take each morning and didn't see any other fish. One was a fat half lbr and the other was considerably bigger! My biggest loch trout to date taken on a red arsed green peter bob fly of a team of 3.
Few pics, if you've been there pic 2 should be familiar!

That is a cracking fish! Nicely done. I know the loch, that drop off is mouth watering.

I too know that loch and there are some fair specimens lurking just beyond the drop off.

Belting trout.
