Places to spin fish near avimore.

Hi,

I'm a complete novice to fishing (went a few times with my dad when I was a kid - and didn't pay attention!)

Going to Granton on spey for a week and looking for somewhere fairly accessible for fishing.  Taking my mum so she's not able to walk too far.

Looking to spin fish as none of us are competent enough to fly fish, just looking for a nice day on the water and catching anything is just a bonus!

Any suggestions welcome.  Cheers.

There is a small fishery on the outskirts of Grantown in the Craggan golf course that I think permits spinning as well as fly fishing.  Its right on the main road but I've never fished it.
