Hi Terrier,
Close, it was Brandy, taken when I was younger and fitter.

Are you Angus Based?

Thought it might be one of them. I had the tube up at brandy last year myself, before the beer festival!
Incredible when out on tube and look down through gin clear water yet still can't see bottom of the loch  :shock Pretty deep!

And I stay in Meigle these days.

Believe there's another new one out this month as well called Fishing in Fishnets but it was wrapped in a brown paper wrapping and placed on the top shelf in my local newsagent  :wink :z4 :z4

When I arrived there it was flat calm and I must have been out over at least 25 possibly 30 feet of water and could see the bottom as clear as day, before the cloud & wind came then visibility was lost.

This might be a silly question but tell me, that's not you in the photo?  ?   :z8

Humour is obviously wasted on you pair of dullards  :shock  :z4  :z12

I've never been to the top of the corrie, the view of the loch looks great but I'll bet the outlying view would be something else on a clear day.

One day maybe.

This is above Wharral, if head a bit further round you can see right down to the coast/Montrose basin

Must keep an eye out for that one Iain.
Seems like it might be a breath of fresh air compared to what's on the shelf at the moment and seems to reflect what we've been talking about round here. Ideal toilet reading!  :z16
Can you subscribe?

How was your finger of Fudge by the way...?? :wink
