Jim,

Your marital status and age immaterial! For one dreadful moment, OK several moments, during the clip I thought it was "Mama Grizzly" aka Sara Palin. Mama keeps the likes of us in a run with the huskies at the bottom of the yard. Goodness knows where she keeps her husband , Todd, or her single mother daughter.

I am totally fed up with the weather.  Was really wanting to go fishing today on the Clyde but I don't fancy fishing in a blizzard!

Pointless white rubbish! It's reappearing as fast as I can clear it and my back is in bits  :z6

I like the video of the troot chasing taking the floating flies - frustrating though  :z16

I've just received the "go home or you will die email!" excellent, except I know there will be a mountain of snow to clear from the pavement and the flat needs cleaning.

rubbish.

Love that trailer Harri looks like a great trip. Roll on the spring and big rising trout.

Mike, Mike, Mike...

You are soooo wrong!  :wink

Hopefully this winter we'll have the Tour of Eleven Cities (Elfstedentocht), a brutal skatingtour of 200 km (some 133 miles, isn't it?). If and when this takes place, you have to come over to Holland. It's an event you'll never forget! Check out this clip. If you scroll to 2:20 minutes, you'll see one of the biggest speedskaters ever, Norwegian Johann Olav Koss. You'll see what I mean!

Goes without saying Peter, not putting up any pictures.  There's some bloody flyting ace that keep taking the piss out of my heads & finishes, made me all self conscious about posting pics or tying in public  :z4

You'll have to get up here for a cast early season, that's two seasons you've been threatening now!!

Don't know what it's doing in Aberdeenshire.... but here in the Inverness area it's +4 degrees C and pissing down with rain. Which is actually slightly annoying as the cardboard that I've been putting over the windscreen to help keep the frost off isn't cardboard any more :roll

On the plus side, the carpets for much of the house should be delivered and fitted today.... which means that (finally :!) I'll be able to get the fly-tying kit unpacked, organised and ready to make a mess for the first time in over 5 months. I'm sure she who must be obeyed will be delighted by this :wink

So I guess we'll see a Step By Step from you now :wink

Feels like a thaw going on here this morning too .........

Cheers
Mike
