A good turnout and lots of fish caught despite them being finicky at times.

Hi folks

I thought it was a great day too, nice and relaxed.

CDC Emergers, F-Flies, Walker's Sedge, Sedgehogs, the Daddy, Bibio and Pearly Pennell were on the menu today

Some of the better catches included Kipps with 23, Iain Cameron 15, Kev Danby 15, Peter Scott 14, Iain Armstrong 11 and Jim Eddie netted 10. I think Kev probably had the largest on the day at approx 6 lb, but I suspect that folk were having more fun with the wee blues

I think Kipps had every reason to look pleased with himself - 23 fish was excellent in difficult conditions, at times.

I still can't drive after my surgery and my driver (daughter) and porter (wife) both decided to get swine flu this week
