Back to botching net carrying attachments ..... happens every couple of years  *smiley-grin*

Magnet plus cable tie again - don't think I've ever found the perfect solution.

I also use a cable tie. They are the perfect solution for almost everything 😆

Ditto on the magnet and cable tie solution.
I wonder if anyone with a wooden frame has ever carefully gouged out a groove to glue in a magnetic strip or similar.

I ended up re-thinking the cable tie last night ( as I maybe cut the tag end too close ) and did another rough looking botch by threading an old bit of fly line through the frame.

Lots of weaving, and knots, and covered by some clear silicone ...... it's not pretty, but it will do the job  *smiley-lol*

Where did you get the magnet and I presume you have similar or your waistcoat to attach it to?

Just a standard 2 piece net magnet Duncan, I can't remember where I got it from, had it for years .......

Yes, the other half is on the D ring on the back of my vest  :z16

It's strong enough for my light wooden net, but no use for my heavier metal net.
