An afternoon on the dries again, nice hatch of LDO's water was looking decent. The trout were all in lovely Autumn colours.
If thats my last chance, then I thoroughly enjoyed it. a nice end to what has been a fragmented but excellent season. I'll leave it with a few photos.

My last fish of the season from yesterday.
Nothing massive but all on the dry again. Even in the wind I managed to Winkle some out. So that’s it until March

Yes, I guess it is time to get the vice out and prepare for 2024 Sandy.

I have really enjoyed my season again this year

With the water height at around 4ft i really wasn't expecting to catch anything today.Certainly not a day for the fly
However,it was the last day of the season and i wanted to get out for a last walk of the water.

There was only a couple of fishable spots on the beat i was on and somehow i managed to winkle out a good sized fish on the Devon minnow.



A nice end to quite a disappointing season.
