Looking at the costs involved with selling on platforms like Ebay nowadays .... we really should make more use of the forum 'For Sale / Wanted' section.

Too right. I hadn't used ebay for a while I was amazed by:
1) the amount they take for the sale
2) how long they held onto my money for  - it was about a month as I 'don't sell much'
I wont be using it again in a hurry that's for sure...

I've bought (a lot) and sold gear on here with complete confidence and even made a friend or two.  eBay tends to be full of chancers, roasters, wannabe millionaires, or just eejits.
Being in a small community has benefits.
