I think I may try some Troutcast Copolymer tippet and put it through a few tests.

I get on very well with Seaguar Ace hard. The long leader for point fly cuts through the water quickly and it is fairly stiff for droppers.
I have no problems with weak knots. However, since my attention to the fact that fluorocarbon is not biodegradable...........??
