The last few mornings I’ve been watching the 3M scientific angler videos by Gary Borger.
Absolutely brilliant, I’ve never watched a better video for showing useful information in an easy to understand presentation.
They are from 1983 and although the resolution isn’t brilliant the info is. It proves how if you want to catch fish then not much has really changed, techniques might have been given new names but they aren’t new.
From flies principles and leader set up, to approach and presentation , I’ve been fishing like Mr Borger for a long time and never even knew it.
Well worth watching on the lead up the season, just search Gary Borger on YouTube and watch Flyfishing for trout and fishing the dryfly in that order
