Would have loved to be there but family plans at loch Earn will scupper the idea. I would be more than happy to join a day out at a fishery outside the normal fishing season.

Have fun and tight lines to all who go along.

What's the plan?

For those that haven't been before - these things are totally informal and there is no meeting point or plan  *smiley-grin*

Simply turn up at the same fishery on the day ( in this case Lochter Fishery on Saturday )  fish for as long or as little as you'd like, and bump into other forumite friends on the bank while you enjoy your fishing  >)

I would have loved to come along. Unfortunately, we are visiting family on the West Coast, so I can't make it.

No, I don't think so Rob  *smiley-grin*

But, on a serious note, if anybody is coming along and maybe won't recognise faces ..... please don't hesitate to let me know in advance via PM and I'll do my best to introduce you to everybody on the day  :z16

How about Wardend Fishery or Mill of Kellas :? I've not fished either and it might be entertaining to do some stocky bashing in October  :z18

Sounds good Hamish, I imagine Allan would be able to help with a venue choice up there.
Simply post something about a week beforehand, in September/October or whenever suits you  :z16

Looking a tad damp in the Shire this morning, away to get sandwiches/coffee made up and will head off in about an hour, once I've found something more suitable to put on my feet than my slippers  *smiley-grin*

Cheers
