I mistakenly put a loch fly into Steven’s post on his partridge spider, so here’s another couple for the lochs.

Whats the blueish front hackle ? I used blue guinea fowl.....

James the front hackle is the dyed blue grizzly hen cape in the picture. I now replace jay with this on a lot of flies.

The blue guinea fowl looks nice. I don't have blue died grizzle hackles....however...i do have grizzle hackles and a blue Promarker

and now magically i have a blue grizzle hackle  :z13

I got the cape along with a selection of other colours from Lakeland. These are whiting exclusive hen capes and they are perfect for traditional wets and salmon patterns.
