Is there any such events held anywhere near us in Aberdeenshire or do we have to travel to the other side of the border :?

Thanks Jim,

will have to pencil it in the diary.

It just seems to be lots south of the border and nothing up here but then i guess there's a bigger fishing population down there to cater for.

Dave

OH B****R :mad just looked at diary and we catch the ferry for Ireland on the Sat morning.

Is there any others?

What happened to the one at "Straloch?" near Newmachar? .......... Don't think there has been one there for a few years now?

Was this the only game fair ever to be held in Aberdeenshire?

Cheers

I can remember going to one at Haddo House about 25 years ago. At least I think it was Haddo. Definitely one of the big estates in that part of Aberdeenshire. That was before I started fly fishing so I can't remember is there was much of a fishing section.

What do you enjoy most when you go to one?

The good bit is lots of new toys to try.  :z4

The bad bit is the fact that the toy cupboard is already full and I don't have any good reason to buy anything :cry
