Lough Corrib mayfly film

folks

lovely wee film about Lough Corrib on the west of Ireland, and the mayfly. I fished there this spring (in ridiculously atypical hot hot hot weather) and it is indeed trout heaven.

it's in Irish, but subtitles are available (look bottom right for the [cc] closed caption option

Thank you for that Iain. Enjoyed watching it. I'll be on Mask in May, hoping that the Mayfly are up. I didn't realise that Mask holds more water than Corrib although it is much smaller.

aye, it is a special place.
I was lucky enough to fish with Tom Doc Sullivan - one of the anglers featured in the film - and he was a great fella to share a day with. He is one of the many guides there, and can spot a rise a mile off.

His boats were superb too; great craftmanship. Even just being in the boat was a pleasure.
