River Earn part 2
« on: 27/12/2007 at 22:14 »

Anyone interested in a day on the Earn?  I am thinking of mid Feb but will have to contact Sandy for dates.  Its a good day and a good introduction to grayling fishing.  If interested stick your name up .  jim

Jim,

I'm 100% sure that I want to go but only 75% sure if I can.
send another post when you have an exact date and I'll check my 'on call' rota.

Should be another good day

I know I said Feb but am committed to a wine trip to France in Feb so Jan 28th is the day for the next trip to the Earn.  Those of you who have not fished for grayling before and want to give it a try . Its a social sort of a day but there are some good anglers who are quite happy to pass on help.  dont be afraid it can only end up an addiction lol  jim

This trip is now confirmed . there is a good turnout from other forums, so lads feel free to come along. Its a no pressure chance to fish for grayling. trotting or fly, both options are open. I think everyone enjoyed last time and some even caught fish.  jim

River seems a tad out of sorts at the moment, I will be in touch with Sandy tonight and post after that.  It does not bode well I,m afraid, but we will see if the river drops today jim

JIm,

Thanks for that, seen the Sepa' flood warnings for Carron, Earn, Tummel 'n' Tay. Pity but we'll just have to wait for the Sea-Trout.

Thanks

Iain
