Good to know, Hamish. My flies were very kindly returned to me this weekend  :mad. Seems that the plastic filmcontainer I send them in, was too big  :shock. Send them again last Monday to Mike.

Hi folks

Well, February has arrived and is looking a tad nippy :z6

Continuing with the idea of creating a fly using a tried and tested material in a new and original way, a fly that will be marked on originality, use of material, tying prowess and its potential to catch fish...........

The material for February's fly will be Pearl Tinsel :wink

So let the creative juices flow and lets see what you all come up with :z3

Best wishes
Mike

Henry,
I assume that this had to be fairly difficult!!!    All the best with your recovery.

How did the op go Henry? Well i hope. We should have a day at haddo sometime soon if your feeling ok and if the temps stay up in double figures. My delicate irish genes arent able for these scottish winters :z4
