I tend to use holo fusion to "shroud" a core of SF, EP or Pikeskinz fibre.  This is because the holo fusion is relatively soft and wraps around the hook and collapses a little without support.

Adds a nice shimmer to a baitfish :)
Ok, I admit it, I quite like this salmon fishing lark....
