Derek,

Indeed a giant of our noble art. The Lefty deceiver will continue to attract fish long after Lefty is gone and carry on his legacy. I have watched many programmes where this gentleman was involved and his humble approach to his immense knowledge and understanding of our sport should be congratulated and celebrated in today’s five minute celebrity soon forgotten society. My son Steven has a Lefty rod which he picked up in Alaska on a trip quite some time ago which is gathering dust somewhere in my garage but surely will now become a treasured possession. Tight lines Lefty as you cast your line across which ever waters you are now crossing.

Eddie
