I’ve been playing around with some more videos, but I’m no Davie McPhail.

Setting up to do a video does make you think a bit more about the material and have everything set out before you start. Probably something I should be doing all of the time.

One question and it is definitely more out of curiosity than critique. What is the purpose of looping a second strand of glowbrite over the back? As I say I am by no means saying you are wrong to do it but I am curious as to the benefit.

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

Steven, I tie in floss tags in that way as i think it will prevent the floss slipping down the bend of the hook latter. This may or may not be an issue, but I like to try and may my flies as robust as possible. On a fly like this a little added bulk in the body is not that noticeable.
