High Lochs and Heatherflees

It's been quite an eventful August starting up in Orkney, then a few days in Faroe chasing seatroots (fantastic btw averaging about 30 fish a session in the 12oz to 2lb bracket )

But recently I've also been hitting the upland waters I know that hold Rod Benders putting miles on the car, (firkin hate the NC500 now  :cry) miles on the legs (still can't loose weight and the hikes are defo getting harder the older I get  :z7) but all well worth it with some stoopendous troots up to just shy of 5lb.

All sighted, all on dries and all on either my Black or Claret Heatherfly Hopper (I'm sure there's a link to a tutorial on this site somewhere  :wink)

Ok back to running water now, well maybe just one more long drive / hike  :z16
