Moy Game Fair and Scott MacKenzie

Just escaped the muddy trenches  and slippy parking after watching Scott perform his magic. As the Absolute Beginner I thought;
"He'd be a far nicer person if he didn't make at all look so bloody easy!"
Now I'm fired up for another day's teasing the trout.

I thought I might go fishing instead of attending Moy... so I did.

On the Upper Beauly today and caught loads of trout (some good ones too).... unfortunately I was fishing for Salmon  :z6

The silver tourists tormented me all day by splashing and boiling at flies and generally being 'tricky'. Then the wind died, the rain eased and the midgies came out. I ran away  :X1

:wink
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience ;)

Yes, the sure fire way of avoiding the dreaded Midgie is to go home, :X2 Derek Roxborough

Right ya prick, all that serves you right for being there without me!!  :z7
All the tourists were wanting a proper angler and were coming up for a look, seeing that it wasn't me and keeping their heads down.
This will, of course change in two weeks time when all the tourists will love my flies and flock to my flies.

In other words, bad luck Dude.

Living with deep, full breaths is the way of the trout. Fish, it seems, are the ultimate teachers in breathing.
