travel nets

i'm looking for a  large net that i can put in my luggage.  ideally i need something like a specimen carp net,  detachable head and all components (arms/ handle) no longer than a broken down 9 foot 4-piece in tube;  so broadly around 32" max.

i don't exactly have any coarse fishing shops on my doorstep, so if anyone's got any suggestions they'd be most welcome. not looking for super high quality, just packability. cheers in advance!

just did a double-check: it's 33" max, which is about the same as a 9'6, 4-piece rod tube

You are a difficult bugger! lol

Right, most of the "carp" nets are single piece 6 foot handles with 42" arms, HOWEVER, there are "stalking versions out there. Trouble is, they tend to be two piece, so 36" in section, plus the actual arms themselves, also 36".

If this can somehow be squeezed into your luggage than the only one to go for that's worth having is the Chris Brown Products Stalker Traveller (3'x2) Think the Sandy Nielson of landing nets and metal wear ;)

The other more likely option is to get a telescopic handle and a threaded net head.

Korum do a "folding" pan and triangular net heads as well as a Specimen 32" net head.

Drennan do a lovely  32" net

Daiwa do a tiny telescopic handle, but its not cheap!

Lots of telescopics out there, but they all tend to be a meter in length when closed.

On the handle front, it would be possible to cut a 6 foot handle into 4 and "spigot it", but that's not going to be easy.

I shall have a wee think of where I have seen multi-piece handles...
