Fishing The Fly Scotland Forum

Clint Parsons

With some overcast spells and a bit of sunshine this week had some big fish numbers being taken whilst other days they seemed to pick and choose when they came out to feed. Bright sunshine towards the end of the week meant early morning rise was the best with some after lunch deciding to entertain those that came out to fish. Some of the best catches this week; A. Davidson with well over 30 Fish (Black Fritz), R. Mackay with well over 30 fish including a cracking monster at 12lb   A. Murray, 22 fish (Black Fritz), G. Ellington 11 fish (red Buzzers) N. Marching 11 Fish (olive damsel) , N. Garden 7 fish (fritz and WSW)N. Thomson 6 fish (blood Worm) .

Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is open seven days from 8am and visitors and novices are always welcome. Booking is not necessary and boats (where required) rods and tackle is available for hire at the fishery.
