Me & the young gun had a day right up river yesterday for a change of scene.. too low for a lot of the water we walked, but picked up a few, not many big pools so when I hooked this one it took off down stream like a rocket, great to see in low clear water

One of the bigger pools

Great day and some seriously awesome water. I would like to fish it back end with a bit more water. I reckon that would reflect its true potential. Hint, hint Ali!  :z4 :z7

Here's my best of the day hooked a few casts into the first pool.

Arrived today to find I'd been beaten to it

Not bad with phone through the binos, tried getting closer but that failed 😂

Got to the first pool & did a quick long range release on a good fish off the top, was truly gutted, seen him a few times now. One day!!

The next pool produced this, which fought real well, they are a different beast from a month ago!! 👍🏻

Then hooked a beast which snapped me at the net 😢 Not my day I guess,2 best fish of the day dropped!!

Some huge hatches today, cloud after cloud

2nd time iv done the post as some photos went up on the side, if it's happened again, tuff 😂😂

That's a nice picture at the end of your post Ali :z16
One of my favourite places to fish all be it on the other bank and I get a good bit further up :X2 Now on to my bug bear, people thinking they can keep fishing up and up,until they start fishing the next beat and continue going  :mad you are fishing in someone else's water( you haven't got written permission to fish that bit) I can't stand poaching and the arseholes that do it( there is boundaries on how far you can fish and your permit clearly stipulates that) study it before you go out.  I have a right good picture of a couple of guys fishing away and a wee video of them doing it( don't want to put it up on the forum)  as it might incriminate some folk.  And I really don't want to do that
Cheers
Simon

Ali,  I didn't read that as being linked to you, but whoever it was really needs to wise up!

I've already witnessed a couple of idiots this season. One was well known to the bailiffs and was promptly dealt with. The other thought it would be a good idea to spin on a Sunday :mad I soon sent him on his way :X

If you witness anyone up to no good please contact the bailiffs Tel: 01467 642121, they are usually quick to respond  :z16

cheers
Scott

You know what folk are like, put 2 & 2 together & get 5.
I get too much free fishing to risk the confusion 👍🏻

Trophy number 20 graced my net this weekend. I was over the moon after a 10 day dry spell I finally got my big fish fix again! :z14

Lots of other nice fish were landed and there was some incredible hatches.

I'm starting to think about evening fishing now..... I can't be too far off.
