River Don hatchery visit
« on: 17/11/2007 at 12:02 »
I'm thinking about a wee run up to the hatchery at Newe - thought it might be nice to make it a local forum 'outing' with perhaps a stop off at a pub for a pint (or two) and a blether :z16

If I can get such a thing organised with Jim Kerr anyone else here interested in coming along  :?

Irvine - is the Glenkindie beer any good  :?

If you get the date right I'll come and bring the loon too.
He 'll certainly have a sprite :wink just a pity he's not old enough to drive yet.

Still the trip should be interesting :z18

Don't know about the beer at Glenkindie. I haven't been in since they started their micro brewery.
Fishing time is too precious to spend in the pub :z18

Overcome by a rush of public spiritedness I went on a fact finding mission to the Glenkindie Hotel. The beer is good if you like real ale, with a range of their own brews and a few from further afield. If you don't like real ale they have Guiness. Good pub grub with generous helpings.  :z18
This was not an outing for my own pleasure, you will understand, but purely in service of others. :wink

Merry Christmas folks
