Lochter Report - Winter Frost Give Fish An Appetite
« on: November 21, 2016, 11:15:33 AM »
Although angling activity at Lochter Fishery Oldmeldrum has been somewhat curtailed by ice. The fishable areas on all three lochs have been yielding decent bags. The drop in the temperature has made the trout realise that Winter has arrived and they had better have a good meal now before food becomes scarce.

Kevin Heri found the fish suitably hungry and tempted ten with his Cat bug. Graham Duthie did likewise netting twelve using Mini Lures and Squirmy Worms. Peter young used the ever reliable W.S.W to tempt ten while Neil Garden used Fabs and a Black Minkie to account for nine,  the same number as N. Farquhar who used Buzzers.

Finally the management at Lochter would like to thanks all the anglers who voted for them thus enabling Lochter Activity Centre to win The Countryside Prize in the recent ‘Pride of Aberdeen Awards’ competition.
