According to a report in the latest T&S (Dec. 16), Marine Harvest have also lost hundreds of thousands of fish at sites in The Hebrides and Wester Ross due to rampant amoebic gill disease.  The mortalities are being trucked to Wigan for incineration.
It goes on to say that if AGD is still present next spring, then a senior biologist fears smolts on their outward migration could be put at risk.    Bruce Sandison, rest his soul, would have had a field day with this lot.   His relentless campaigning against the salmon farming industry will be severely missed.
