First picture I have posted so hope it works out.

My Son pulled this Tinto Tiger out on Sunday during very wet and windy conditions though you couldn't tell from his face.

Over the last couple of months we have been a roller coaster of cold then mild weather.
Very little ice ever formed on the lochs and when it did it was not for long.
Regular anglers have been plugging away and still pulling fish from Loch Lyoch which is the only loch open during the winter months.
Fishing deep with nymphs and lures have been the order of the day and it has been producing the goods for those willing to put in the effort.

Well 2016 was an interesting year flying solo without the boss.
It was a great honour being voted best Stillwater by the guys on fish and fly, it really does egg you on when the weather is tough like today when cutting weed etc to know that some people really do appreciate your labour of love.
I ordered in blues last month for the new season ahead, they have settled in well and the majority of them are currently being held in to our own large holding tanks hopefully improving further in condition.
These fish will be trick stocked through out the early season as usual.
I hope to see some of you guys at Tinto throughout the season.
Please remember we have holiday accommodation on site and we are 2 mins from the best fishing on the river Clyde.
Thanks again.
