You can tell that by my audacity in joining a forum where membership is restricted to only the active. Ha,there are days I can barely be bothered to breathe, but there are others when you will probably wish I hadn't bothered on the former days!
I'm a retiring sort of alien - taking up fly fishing after 25 years of stalking stags with landed gentry on a small estate and listening to them tell me why I should start fly fishing. Obviously no fly by night type then - just look how long it took for the last sport to get shot of me! If I get as many years here then I probably won't care after that.
Thanks for unwittingly letting me in - my initial decision to join was that wonderful post by Sandy Nelson - Glossary of fishing terms. I learned as much there as I have in £62.75 worth of literature amassed in my initial rush to better myself.
