Liam,

Out of curiosity is the clear uv nail varnish that beauticians use a viable alternative to bug bind etc?

Just thinking it may be a good way of avoiding "fly fishing tax"

Cheers

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work. The girlfriend says it looks similar so give it a go. I would but she will kick my ass if she finds me using her things!  :z4  :z7

It potentially opens up a far easier way of making those heavy bugs of yours if you can nab some of her coloured stuff.

Cheers,

Well after 2 days of being Sociable i finally got some me time today. :z7

So i put it to good use, getting ready for 2017. :z16

SDO's, Iron Blues and 3 sizes of LDO's all based on 2016's observations and experiences.

I got all the LDO's from the Same Gallo de Leon feather, so can comfortable state you will get at least 2 dozen flies from each feather (probably more) but a least 2 dozen.

Hi Liam :z16

No update I'm afraid,  I've just been too busy with the Christmas rush of orders and then Christmas itself with the family.

I'll let you know on here as soon as I have written the pages for the website.

Cheers
Mike

Lovely dries Sandy!  :z16

Almost totally done with the nymphs now. Only a couple more rows of the Pheasant Tails to go. Just finished the last of these a few minutes ago.

Anyone other than Sandy been tying?

Why 11's I find this very disturbing.... glad its not my box :X1 Prime numbers make things look unbalanced :z5

Star Wars was excellent  :z12 way better than the last one.

I have just 4 more flies to tie to fill my box (I ran out of hooks :roll)
