I added to my trolling gear significantly three years ago I then (unexpectedly, but delightfully) became a Dad two years ago.....and the wee lad now means less fishing time
I've havered about this for a few months but have resolved (reluctantly) to consider selling off my trolling/mooching set up as it's not in active use at all - much of it is unused
My fishing time these days is almost exclusively with a fly rod and although I do enjoy trolling I get far less time now to invest in Ferox or Salmon hunting.
This sale represents a
significant amount of quality kit. I know my way around this gear and I know that only the best will do when you're after specimen fish, so I bought the best and much of it is new and unused. The sale will include two specialist custom built unused Canadian mooching rods, 2 Daiwa 175s trolling reels, an Abu multiplier (left hand wind), a new Scotty down-rigger, a new Garmin GPS, a new Garmin fish finder plus many lures, plugs, line, rod holders etc. Everything you need, in fact, to go trolling.
I'm thinking about taking pics but I'm not really terribly interested in splitting it, rather see the lot go in one purchase, so if interested please drop me a line and we'll sort pics/ a visit to see the gear.
Cost
£600 and that's cheap, it's a
lot of gear and would cost significantly more to buy - as in pretty much £1200 for the rods, reels, line, GPS and Fish Finder alone
This set up was put together to give flexibility for Salmon, Ferox, Pike and the occasional Rainbow Trout in freshwater but could be used in brackish/saltwater also. It's quite a collection of gear.
