www.haddotroutfishery.co.uk with a week of good weather separated by the odd shower we have seen a lot more activity with fish seen rising and leaping out all over the lake. Water is still a little murky but it keeps the weed down for now so no complaints from me.
A good start to this week with A. Smith taking a cracking 3lb rainbow on red buzzer only to be topped by G. Ellington with a cracking 5lb fish (in photo below). it’s great to see the good hard fighting Haddo fish are living up to the reputation.
The weekend saw all 3 of the new boats out and whilst there were strikes and misses some good catches were still recorded. G. Ellington Had 4, A. Smith had 2, R. Ross had 3 and T. Simpson had 3 to name a few. Most fish seemed to be sticking with red or white as the primary colours with buzzers and nymphs doing the trick.
