Haddo Trout Fishery ( to October 29th )

Hi folks

Lures like Cats, Dancers and Damsels have produced good morning sport at Haddo this week, but smaller offerings such as Bloodworm, Bibio, Buzzers and Emergers have perhaps been a better choice in the afternoon. I would think that "Jedi" Jim would probably suggest a Peter Ross now too :wink

Kipps Kerr tempted 10 fish up to approx 8 lb for his session, Damien Bruce 17 up to 10 lb, Ian Brown 10 up to 10 lb, Rod Mackay 14 up to 10 lb, Bill Bain 12 up to 5 lb, Colin Mackay 12 up to 7 lb, Alex Burnett 17 up to 15 lb and Kenny Reid netted 19 fish including a nice 9½ lb Blue.

As usual, many didn't quite reach the "magic 10 fish mark" ........ but still enjoyed their day. Nicky Simpson had 8 trout up to 8½ lb, David Hunter 8 fish up to 10 lb, Paul "spiros" found a nice 12 pounder and "Jedi" Jim caught some nice fish of approx 10 lb and 15 lb when out for a wee spell at the end of the casting day.

Fishers from Fred's Wild Fishing Forum held a casting day at Haddo over the weekend, which I hope was enjoyed by all ........ I could certainly see improvements throughout the day, it was nice to meet a few new faces and I learnt a thing or two myself as well

Best wishes
