Fishing The Fly Scotland Forum

The past week has seen the weather improve to a more Springlike feel with temperatures up on the past two months although a chillier breeze has been prevalent for the past two days. The past week has seen daylight hours interspersed with periods of sunshine and cloudier conditions and has led to the fish feeding at different levels according to light and temperature. The more successful angler has been willing to vary depth, speed and tackle in order to keep up with the fish movement. Overall the week has yielded good returns the best of which have fallen to;
A Cowie, Fraserburgh, 45 fish, (white blob, green/white blob), A Murray, Gardenstown, 28 fish, (white nomad), A Gibson, Gardenstown, 21 fish (diawl bach), P Cowie, Fraserburgh, 16 fish, (black buzzer), B Gibb, King Edward, 14 fish, (pink blob), J Dewar, Fraserburgh, 10 fish, (black buzzer), M Stewart, Methlick, 6 fish, (shug bug), I Watt, Turriff, 6 fish, (black buzzer).
