It was like standing on a custard skin that rippled and I have to confess to being a touch alarmed that my pies might get wet....
Top analogy  :z16

The very interesting tactic by Mr Young has me reaching for my wallet and getting out a not so often used rod. This tactic may have worked further north too...  :z4 :z4 :z4

Shhhhh it's a secret  :z4

Lintrathen Loch has been fishing well over the last month or so and i would highly recommend a day out on the water
The warmer weather has brought on some prolific hatch's lately and some great baskets have been taken. The fish have been well spread over the water with the sawmill area being the most productive area.
From buzzers and diawl bachs to wets and dry flies the top of the water sport has been non stop.  Lots of resident wild brown trout are packing the weight on and lots of browns are being caught over the lb mark.
Lots of availability for boats over the coming months so if you are looking for a good day out stick it on your to do list.
If you need any info on the water feel free to drop me a message.

Can anyone tell me when Lintrathen closes this year? I have had a look on the interweb but I can't see an end date.
Cheers,

They will be open weekends only for the full month of October so I believe.
Its still fishing extremely well, dries or washing line with nymphs are producing some big bags  :z16
