I have that very reel (the red Ambassador 6000 size) and it came in a leather box with spare spool and brake blocks. Its some 50 years old and still going strong.
They stopped general Ambassador production in Sweden a while back and the quality has plummeted. However, they are doing a handful of "special additions", all built in Sweden , but there still seems to be quality issues
The "Beast" for Pike and Musky at $400 and the "Champagne", which is gold plated, comes with 2 glasses and a gold tie pin and costs $900...both of which I will never own...lol
