Been a few taken below kintore this week.  Lots of coloured fish running in stops and starts.  sounds like there are lots of fish waiting downstream for water.

Most fish I have heard of are further down the river, one or two fresh fish amongst them. Most fish I have seen are wearing tartan.
Hope for a rise in the river before the end of the season.

I was talking to a mate today who caught a shining silver 3lb cock fish at Kemnay last week. Returned :z16
Seems some of the smaller ones are still around, but it was a fair way up stream for a fresh fish, so some must be running.

It is poor right now.  I struggle to cast between all the lumps of weed and other debris that seem to be floating past. ???

Did you catch anything?  Do you think it will be worth going down this Saturday?

Thanks

Colin
