Hi guys 

I thought it would be nice to have a place to share and discuss flies and or anything fly tying in preparation for next year. I know it's a long way away but it's good to be prepared! 

I hope a few of you join in posting over the close season.

Heres a handful of whispy Bloas to get things started. Tied on size 12 B160s, a good hook for a great fly!

Another staple in my box all season in 14-16s. It's a 3 material fly and takes 2 minutes to tie!

Failure turned to  success tonight. A slightly long wing on a F-Fly pissed me off and as a result I roughed the fly up. The wing cocked and the body became even buggier. I liked what I was seeing!

The result:



I'm going to tie some in 12-14 for the early season MB.

I know the fly you mean Allan, black body, silver rib, red holo tag and peacock glister thorax. I think it's called the French Nymph.... The one I've tied is big amount at the American comp guys. But you are right mine are just a fancy PTN 

Anyone got any flies coming off their vice?
