I'm feeling a bit better thanks, it was a bit of a shock but I am able to get out for a few hours and fish but still get really tired.

I am just thankful I am still able to do everything I was before it happened and am hoping I will make a full recovery in the coming months. It made me realise how much I love fishing and what it means to me.

Yes, I like that piece too. I often say to myself "to hell with it" and plan to travel lighter despite the fact I don't carry that much anyway but remember the days when it would just be a lanyard with a the bare essentials and just a few flies.

I am sure we feel comforted by carrying large amounts of flies/boxes even though  I sit and tie flies through the winter that never see the light of day during the season. Won't stop me doing it though!
