Lochter Report- Walter Leads by Example!
« on: 25/09/2014 at 09:18 »
Having invented the deadly WSW many years ago, Aberdeen's Walter Senior is always under pressure to show that Walter's secret weapon (which is not a secret anymore) really works.

He paid two visits to Lochter Fishery, Oldmeldrum last week and using only his WSW had sixteen and thirteen on his trips. He kept three each time for his neighbours and returned the rest.

Also getting among the fish was Garry Linklater who netted thirteen on a prince nymph, M. Wallace with ten on a mix of Daddies and a blacklure. D.Mackie came all the way from Innerleithen and using Muddles and Lures brought twelve to the bank. He kept three for 15lb 3oz and was well pleased with his visit.

The Blobby buys Bill Ferries and Doug Mair were on good form and had twenty between them while Bob Sutherland used a new Bungee Buzzer under a Bushy and had a great day with nine.

Dries have been working well with Daddies and Hoppers scoring. Sunken versions fished slowly just under the surface have been well worth a try as Autumn approaches.
